When a player fully dies (Coma timer runs out, or the player chooses to Skip Coma), they will respawn at the [[City Hall]].

Dying isn't heavily punished in Transport Tycoon. The player only loses the money they sacrifice to Skip coma, which is a maximum of $25,000.

Instead, if a player has [[pills]] in their inventory, they will rejuvenate and respawn at the exact same spot.
If the player lets the coma timer run out then their respawn is completely free. In essence, this means you lose nothing but time.
 
 
 
Players who have bought a [[House]] or own a [[Businesses|Business]] with a respawn perk will be able to choose to (re)spawn at the aforementioned accommodations after pressing F5 when prompted. Opening that menu costs $50,000.
