Overview

Speed Traps SpeedTrap.png are cameras located around the map placed either by the server or Factions. the money you are charged after activating a Speed Trap placed by a Faction will go towards that Factions balance.

Avoidance

There are 4 ways to avoid paying the Speed Trap:

  1. Buy the Speed Trap EMP on the webshop. this will permanently prevent you from being charged by Speed Traps.
  2. Buy Speed Trap Cards from the in-game Traffic Permit Market or loot some out of Medium Grade Chests. These will cost $120 each, they are automatically consumed as one-time-use cards.
  3. Buy a Speed Trap Radar from the Marketplace or loot one out of a High Grade Chests. The Speed Trap Radar will NOT prevent you from being charged, however it will alert you of cameras around you.
  4. Going at or below 64 MPH will ensure no Speed Traps will trigger, thus not receiving any fines. This however isn't recommended as this can severely hinder your efficiency.

Strategy

Speed Traps charge more based on speed and your Player level. When you are relatively new this means the fines should be below $120.
