The Roxwood Update


Hey everyone! Today is the big day where you can finally get your hands on the expanded county of Roxwood! This update has been in the works for a while, so there's a lot of changes to list. Please take a look:

Server

Blip Menu

  • Compress option now makes a separate category

Bugfixes

  • Miner: Fixed flickering on high framerates
  • Fixed spelling on some vehicle names
  • Changed more instances of "Fire Fighter" to "Firefighter"
  • Corrected 1 Day EXP Boost name (it's 10%, not 5%)
  • Paycheck system should no longer stop working
  • Fixed default customization on vehicles (!!!)

vRP

  • Added handling of new blip categories
  • Added more details to "Stop Job" option

API

  • Added new farming endpoints
  • Added new data to faction endpoints
  • Added Runway List as Config File

User Applications

  • Tweaked landing disclaimer for user applications
  • Sample application.html updated
  • Added new data fields and commands
  • Added menu and prompt handling commands
  • Added camera direction values

Misc

Added a new Streak system

It will track streaks across gameplay sessions, similar to how the daily streak works. If you don't progress the job streak for two days it will end and put you back to 0.

Jobs with existing streak mechanics will utilize this new system. This means you no longer lose your streak if you get disconnected.

Some other jobs also have streaks added to them. You can see current streaks in the Identity tab of your menu.

  • Conductor jobs now utilize the new Streak system

Vehicles

  • Added the Voyager line of vehicles
  • Added new Semi Cab models to trailer system
  • Configured the Voyager Box SWB for trucking

Jobs

Specialized Jobs

  • Improved Specialized Job blips
    • They now show their names in the legend
    • They now have images representing each job in the info box
  • Added a new location for CollinsCo Cabbies at the Roxwood Red Rocket Cab Co.
  • Added taxi spawner at Red Rocket Cab Co.

Farming

  • Added Farm Workers that can do farming tasks for you
  • Farm Workers require tokens, which can be obtained while tending to your fields
  • Added 4 new fields to farming in Roxwood
  • Farmer's Milk no longer is affected by "Put All"
  • Farming should now update time when selecting the job
  • Farming post-harvest item usages

EMS / Paramedic

  • Added support for the EMS Dorado and the EMS Kuruma
  • Defib Kits now give extra EMS exp even in helicopters
  • Added new helicopter start at Pillbox Hill
  • Callouts now generate between every 45 and 60 seconds
  • Tweaked streak reward scaling
  • EMS perk effect is currently disabled due to conflicting mechanics
  • Added EMS missions to Roxwood

Trucking

  • Added Deliver Jewelry x10 option
  • Added x2 option for Debif Charging
  • Added a Trucking HQ in Roxwood
  • Introduced Level requirement to trucking trailers
  • Added Fill Pill Box x2
  • Roxite Mine military route additions
  • Trucking additions to Roxwood
  • Added new type of food item for shipments
  • Additional Airline Meals recipe

Piloting

  • Removed Paleto Bay Airport from all piloting jobs
  • Added Roxwood Arroyo Muerto as a replacement to Paleto Bay Airport

Firefighter

  • Firefighters can now use any zone at level 100 and it will reward you with the max xp/money

Street Racer

  • Added 4 new racetracks in the Roxwood area
  • Added a live leaderboard for the top 9 times of each Roxwood Raceway track
  • Racing records now show the persons ID as well as their name

Mechanic

  • Added the Bri-Covery for the Mechanic job
  • Added Mechanic dropoff and start location in Roxwood
  • Added support for 2 new vehicles
    • The Voyager Flatbed and the Mule Recovery

Garbage Collector

  • Added support for 3 new vehicles
    • Trash Voyager, Trash Brickade and the Trasher


Mining

  • Added the Roxwood Roxite Mine

Hunting

  • Added Hunting to Roxwood County
  • Added a garage near the Roxwood Ranger Station

Conductor

  • Added a new Train Station: Market Station near Rancho
  • Added the new Market Station to the Railroad fast travel
  • Passenger Train route now auto-starts the next route
  • Metro Train now auto-starts the next route

Map Changes

Map

  • Added a new system for map blip categories
  • Courier job blips now have proper names
  • Mineshaft blips now appear in their own category
  • Compressed Mineshaft map blips
  • Re-fill zones for Aerial Firefighter now have names
  • Airline start locations now show in their own category
  • Fishing Zones now have proper names on the map legend
  • Fire stations now have proper names on the map legend
  • Paramedic hospitals now have proper names on the map legend

    • An actively developed expansion to the map. A new countryside with towns and a variety of stuff to explore.
    • We will expand upon this with existing jobs and new fun activities.
