Hunter

The Hunter is usually regarded as a good and entertaining way to make money when you start, however, it’s wise to first follow the Getting Started Guide to increase strength and inventory space first. If you like guns and slaying pixelated animals, this job is for you. Watch out for danger kitties!

Start Hunting:

• First head to the Job Center and select the Hunter job.
• Obtain hunting gear at the deer icon southeast of Paleto Bay.
• Go and hunt wild or farm animals. (Cats and dogs will give you an option to collect meat from them but will not give meat. Besides, killing cats and dogs is just mean!)

Collecting Meat:

When you shoot or slay your prey in your preferred way you can collect its meat by walking over the body and pressing E.

From wild animals, you will receive “Wildlife Meat”. You need to convert this to “Meat”

M → Inventory  → Wildlife Meat → Convert all to meat

From farm animals, you will receive either “Stolen Livestock Meat” or “Premium Livestock Meat”. You need to take this meat to the “Farmers Office” at the cow farm just South of the Prison, it is marked by a white box with a dollar sign.It will cost you money to convert it to Livestock/Premium Livestock meat. Once again you will need to convert this to “Meat”

M → Inventory  → Livestock Meat → Convert all to meat

M → Inventory  → Premium Livestock Meat → Convert all to meat

Selling Meat:

• Once you have converted all your Wildlife/Livestock/Premium Livestock Meat to "Meat". You can now sell your “Meat” at the Cluckin Bell Factory in Paleto Bay, it is marked by a white box with a dollar sign named “Meat Buyer”. You will receive money and experience.
