FarmingFarming emoji.png is one of the Jobs (and skills) available in Transport Tycoon. As a Farmer, you are responsible for harvesting and processing crops. You have the choice of Farming in Paleto Bay,Grapeseed or Roxwood. All areas have multiple fields that can be bought provided that you have the level for the field. With the crops you harvest, you can feed livestock such as chickens, pigs and cows.

Getting Started

First, you will need to visit any Job CenterJobCenter.png (except for Life Invader) and choose the Farmer job. Once you have the Farmer job, you'll need a tractor that you can buy from the Car Dealership Car Dealer.png or find a randomly spawned one. As a beginner Farmer, you only have access to a small field Purchasable field.png at Paleto bay, so go there and buy it (30.000$) Owned field.png .
Every field is locked behind a specific Farming level, locked fields show up as Unowned field.png (see Fields).

Worker Tokens

Obtaining Worker Tokens

Worker tokens are obtained through completing tasks on fields such as Cultivating, Planting, Fertilizing and Harvesting Your Fields and are given by chance. Worker tokens can also be obtained by purchasing from other players through the Marketplace or trading together.

Using Worker Tokens

Worker tokens can be used at Farm Workers and instantly completes tasks on fields like Cultivating, Planting and Harvesting. (XP is only granted when Harvesting, and no xp is given when Cultivating or Planting). 1 Worker Token completes 1 Task. The Farm Workers is located in Grapeseed at the O'Neil farm house on the north east side.

All you have to do here is take care of your animals by feeding them regularly. At the start you'll only have 1 animal, but you can buy more of them by hitting the "Total animals" button (price is increasing after each animal bought).
Once you have animals on your farm, make sure to feed them as you will lose all but one of your animals if they do not have enough food! You can see a "feeding bar" which decreases by 1 tick each hour for every animal you have in that pen[1]. You can collect your reward every day (24 hours)[1], this will give you a generous amount of Farming Experience and some items related to the type of pen you collected from.
