Quarry Worker

From Tycoon Gaming

Quarry Worker is the newest addition to the multitude of jobs within Transport Tycoon.

With the Quarry Worker job you operate heavy machinery without a license with a friend or 2 by your side and get paid while doing it.

Getting Started

Head over to the quarry in Sandy Shores and go to the Specialized Job centre (Specialized Job.png ) and select the Quarry Worker job. Then, head over to one of the spawners besides the job centre to spawn an excavator or tipper truck.

Doing The Job

The Quarry worker job is a CO-OP focused job, with people in an excavator and others in a tipper truck. The Excavator operator' job is to dig up gravel and dump it into the tipper trucks. The tipper trucks then take it to a drop off point marked on their map, and tip it away to receive rewards. (Mining,Trucking And Farming XP+ 25000 Dollars Split between the amount of helpers)

In order to take the role of the excavator, you need to spawn an excavator at the spawner next to the job centre. When seated in your excavator, you will get given a location inside the quarry to go and dig at. Once arrived at the dig site, you will need to control the excavator and follow the on screen instructions to dig up gravel and dump it into the tipper trucks.

(The controls for the boom follow the same control scheme as the submarine controls so if you wish to change the keybindings, change the keys for submarines.).

For the role of tipper truck: You can spawn them at the job centre as well. When you have spawned the truck, go over to one of the excavators working hard and park the truck up next to them, so they can dump their bucket into your truck bed. Once the bed is 100% full, you will get a waypoint marked on your map. Go over to the waypoint and follow the on screen instructions to dump your bed and get paid.

Rewards

Now for the fun part, the rewards!

When dropping off the gravel from the tipper truck, the rewards are distributed between everyone involved in that particular drop off. Meaning that the operator of the excavator will get paid as well as you, when you drop off the gravel.

You get 3 different EXP gains when completing a drop off.

As well as money for your efforts.
